Step 1: The First Layer
Match up pieces with white on them. You don’t need any algorithms. Remember to match not just the white, but the non-white side colors, too, like in the picture.
Step 2: The Last Layer
Go to Steps 4 and 5 of “How to Solve a 3×3”, but ignore sections and algorithms dealing with edges. (In other words, you just need R U Ri U R U2 Ri to get all the yellow on top, and Ri F Ri B2 R Fi Ri B2 R2 Ui to solve the cube.)
